We have received a $2 million award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Emerging Frontiers in Research and Innovation (EFRI) office to lead a multidisciplinary team of investigators for developing technologies for next-generation microalgae-based biofuel.

About 40 middle/high school girls visited our lab as part of the 2012 Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Summer Camp, where they participated in various lab activities and demonstrations.
